TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
MY MUZE SEPTEMBER 2024 DATA CAMPAIGN
1.Introduction
1.1 Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) and Mondia Media South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Partner”) are running a Competition where customers stand a chance of winning their share of R2 000.00 (two thousand Rand) worth of Vodacom Data by subscribing to the My Muze service for only R5.00 (Five Rand) per day (the
“Competition”).
IMPORTANT PROVISION: ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THE PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS COMPETITION. BY ENTERING THE COMPETITION, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE COMPETITION OR SUBMIT ANY INFORMATION IN THIS REGARD. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT, AT ANY TIME, TO MODIFY AND UPDATE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FROM TIME TO TIME BY POSTING SUCH UPDATED TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON THE VODACOM WEBSITE. ANY SUCH UPDATES SHALL APPLY TO YOU AND YOUR ENTRY INTO THE COMPETITION AND YOU SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED SUCH CHANGES.
ALL PARTICIPANTS TO THE COMPETITION AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
2.Duration
2.1 This Competition shall commence on 00h01 on 20 September 2024 to 23h59 on 11 October 2024
(the “End Date”) (“the Competition period”).
2.2 The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
3.Prizes
3.1Participants to the Competition stand a chance to win:
3.1.1 1 (one) of 10 (ten) 10GB (ten Gigabytes) Vodacom Data Bundles worth R200.00 (two hundred Rand) each.
3.2 The total value of the Prize is R2 000.00 (two Thousand Rand) (“the Prize”)
4.Eligibility
4.1 Only entries received during the Competition period will qualify to enter the Competition.
4.2 The following requirements must be complied with during the Competition period in order to qualify for entry into the Competition:
4.2.1 be a natural person;
4.2.2 be at least 18 years and older;
4.2.3 be a Vodacom prepaid, hybrid or post-paid subscriber during the Competition Period;
4.2.4 reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identify document or South African permanent residence permit or a South African temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3(three) months which permits shall be valid as at the End Date; and
4.2.5 use a SIM card that has been RICA registered; and
4.2.6 subscribed to the My Muze service for R5.00 (Five Rand) per day by:
4.2.6.1 dialing USSD: *117*849#; or
4.2.6.2 visiting webpage: www.mymuze.com
Once or if all the requirements of paragraphs 4.2.1 to 4.2.6 are met, entry into the Competition will be automatic.
4.3 Employees, directors and agents of Vodacom and the Partner (where applicable) all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management or marketing of this Competition are not eligible to enter this Competition.
4.4 In the event that the registered user of the SIM Card or Vodacom account (i.e., the participant in the Competition) is not the person that is responsible for payment of the Vodacom account/ charges on the Vodacom account, then the Prize will be awarded to the person that is responsible for payment of the Vodacom account.
4.5 Each subscription qualifies for 1 (one) entry into the Competition.
4.6 Standard data costs apply as per the user’s Service Provider and existing price plan for data usage. Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the winners for claiming any Prizes, where applicable.
5.Prize draw
5.1 Winners will be randomly selected on 18 October 2024 from all eligible entries who meet all the requirements set out in clause 4 above.
6.Winner Validation
6.1 All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable).
6.2 Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable) will use reasonable efforts to contact the winners telephonically on the MSISDN used by the participant to subscribe to the Service ("Registered MSISDN"). The winners will be contacted within 7 (seven) working days after the End Date.
6.3 The claim for any Prize will be subject to security and validation, and Vodacom reserves the right to withhold any Prize until it is satisfied that the claim by a particular winner is valid. The selected winners must be able to identify themselves, in a manner determined by Vodacom, as the qualifying participants to the Competition and are required to comply with the validation procedure, determined by Vodacom, to claim any Prizes, failing which such winner will forfeit the Prize and the Prize will be awarded to the next selected qualifying participant.
6.4 Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable) shall attempt to contact the winners for a period of 05 (five) working days after their names have been drawn and verified as winners. The winners will be contacted during normal working hours, between 09:00 to 16:00 [Note: Delete if not applicable]. Winners will be advised of arrangements in respect of Prizes at the time of contacting the selected winners. Should a participant not be available on the Registered MSISDN during the timeframe stipulated above or rejects, forfeits or declines acceptance of the Prize, that person's right to the Prize will be deemed to have been waived and the Prize will be forfeited. Vodacom reserves the right to then award the Prize to the next randomly drawn participant. The winners will be contacted within 7 (seven) working days after the End Date.
6.5 In the event that Vodacom requires certain documentation to be submitted by a particular winner and same has not been received at the agreed cut-off date communicated to the winner, or no effort is made on the part of any of the winners to make special arrangements to meet the deadline set by Vodacom, such Prize will be forfeited. Vodacom then reserves the right to award the Prize to the finalist that is next in line.
6.6 Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable) shall request the winners’ consent in writing to their image and/or likeness being used and published by Vodacom in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they have been announced as winners. The winners may decline the use of their image and/or likeness by Vodacom.
7.Prize Delivery
7.1 The winner's Registered MSISDN will be automatically recharged with the Prize.
7.2 All risks and ownership of the Prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of Vodacom’s obligations regarding the Competition as well as in regard to the Prizes shall terminate.
8.Personal information
8.1 User data, including personal information collected via the Competition will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition and will be processed in line with the Vodacom’s Privacy Statement which is incorporated into these terms and conditions. The Privacy Statement sets out how amongst other things Vodacom collects, use and shares subscribers personal information and how it protects subscriber’s privacy when processing their information.
8.2 By continuing, a subscriber confirms that the Vodacom Privacy Statement has been read and understood. The latest Privacy Statement can be found on the Vodacom

9.General
9.1 Participants may obtain a copy of the competition rules on the URL: https://www.mymuze.com/za/music-za-revamp_page_terms-conditions_competitions
9.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or Vodacom in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
9.3 The Prize is not transferable and is not exchangeable for another Prize or cash and cannot be sold.
9.4 The decision of Vodacom in respect of disputes arising out of this Competition shall be dealt with by Vodacom in terms of these Terms and Conditions. The decision of Vodacom in this regard shall be final and binding on the Parties and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.5 Winners are only entitled to win 1 (one) Prize each.
9.6 In the event of a dispute with regard to any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.7 Vodacom and/or the Partner may refuse to award a Prize if entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they have not been successful.
9.8 Vodacom and/or the Partner and/or any other person or party associated with the Competition, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Competition, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either the participant entering the Competition or from it claiming a Prize.
9.9 Vodacom is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or Prize redemption process of the Competition. In addition, neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in and/or the Prize redemption process of the Competition.
9.10 Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents, and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any Prize nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
9.11 If Vodacom elects in its sole and absolute discretion or is required by law to alter, vary or cancel any aspect of the Competition, it will have the right to terminate the Competition being offered, with immediate effect and upon written notice being published on the Vodacom website. In such event all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
9.12 All information relating to the Competition which is published on any marketing material will form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
9.13 The Competition is also subject to, and must be read in conjunction with, Vodacom’s existing terms and conditions applicable to its website and mobile site respectively., which terms and conditions are available on the Vodacom website.

“Competition”).

3.1Participants to the Competition stand a chance to win:
3.1.1 Their share of a R10 000.00 (ten thousand Rand) cash Prize, where 4 (four) participants will each win a R2 500.00 (two thousand five hundred Rand) cash prize bi-weekly during the Competition period. (“the Prize”)
4.Eligibility
4.1 Only entries received during the Competition period will qualify to enter the Competition.
4.2 The following requirements must be complied with during the Competition period in order to qualify for entry into the Competition:
4.2.1 be a natural person;
4.2.2 be at least 18 years and older;
4.2.3 be a Vodacom prepaid, hybrid or post-paid subscriber during the Competition Period;
4.2.4 reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identify document or South African permanent residence permit or a South African temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months which permits shall be valid as at the End Date; and
4.2.5 use a SIM card that has been RICA registered; and
4.2.6 follow and/or sign up to the My Muze Facebook page, find the Tshwala Bam challenge competition post, post a video of yourself doing the Tshwala Bam challenge in the comments section with the hashtag #MyMuzexTshwalaBamChallenge.
Once or if all the requirements of paragraphs 4.2.1 to 4.2.6 are met, entry into the Competition will be automatic.
4.3 Employees, directors and agents of Vodacom and the Partner (where applicable) all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management or marketing of this Competition are not eligible to enter this Competition.
4.4 In the event that the registered user of the SIM Card or Vodacom account (i.e., the participant in the Competition) is not the person that is responsible for payment of the Vodacom account/ charges on the Vodacom account, then the Prize will be awarded to the person that is responsible for payment of the Vodacom account.

5.1.1 24 May 2024;
5.1.2 7 June 2024;
5.1.3 21June 2024; and
5.1.4 5 July 2024.

a bank letter as a proof of their bank account details.
7.2 If a winner cannot accept a Prize for any reason whatsoever, the Prize will be awarded to the next selected participant.
7.3 All risks and ownership of the Prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of Vodacom’s obligations regarding the Competition as well as in regard to the Prizes shall terminate.

MY MUZE – TSHWALA BAM MEET & GREET VIP EXPERIENCE

1.1 Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) and Mondia Media South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Partner”) are running a Competition where customers stand a chance of winning a meet and greet opportunity and an exclusive live performance by Tshwala Bam artists TitoM and Yuppe by Subscribing to the My Muze service at a subscription of R5.00 (five Rand) per day during the Competition period (the “Competition”).

4.Eligibility
4.1 Only entries received during the Competition period will qualify to enter the Competition.
4.2 The following requirements must be complied with during the Competition period in order to qualify for entry into the Competition:

2.1 This Competition shall commence on 00h01 on 15 May 2024 to 23h59 on 5 July 2024
(the “End Date”) (“the Competition period”).
2.2 The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
3.Prizes
3.1Participants to the Competition stand a chance to win:
3.1.1 Their share of a R10 000.00 (ten thousand Rand) cash Prize, where 4 (four) participants will each win a R2 500.00 (two thousand five hundred Rand) cash prize bi-weekly during the Competition period. (“the Prize”)
4.Eligibility
4.1 Only entries received during the Competition period will qualify to enter the Competition.
4.2 The following requirements must be complied with during the Competition period in order to qualify for entry into the Competition:
4.2.1 be a natural person;
4.2.2 be at least 18 years and older;
4.2.3 be a Vodacom prepaid, hybrid or post-paid subscriber during the Competition Period;
4.2.4 reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identify document or South African permanent residence permit or a South African temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months which permits shall be valid as at the End Date; and
4.2.5 use a SIM card that has been RICA registered; and
4.2.6 follow and/or sign up to the My Muze Facebook page, find the Tshwala Bam challenge competition post, post a video of yourself doing the Tshwala Bam challenge in the comments section with the hashtag #MyMuzexTshwalaBamChallenge.
Once or if all the requirements of paragraphs 4.2.1 to 4.2.6 are met, entry into the Competition will be automatic.
4.3 Employees, directors and agents of Vodacom and the Partner (where applicable) all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management or marketing of this Competition are not eligible to enter this Competition.
4.4 In the event that the registered user of the SIM Card or Vodacom account (i.e., the participant in the Competition) is not the person that is responsible for payment of the Vodacom account/ charges on the Vodacom account, then the Prize will be awarded to the person that is responsible for payment of the Vodacom account.
4.5 Standard data costs apply as per the user’s Service Provider and existing price plan for data usage. Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the winners for claiming any Prizes, where applicable.
5.Prize draw
5.1 Winners will be randomly selected bi-weekly from all eligible entries who meet all the requirements set out in clause 4 above on the following dates:
5.1.1 24 May 2024;
5.1.2 7 June 2024;
5.1.3 21June 2024; and
5.1.4 5 July 2024.
6.Winner Validation
6.1 All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable).
6.2 Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable) will use reasonable efforts to contact the winners via direct message on Facebook.
6.3 The claim for any Prize will be subject to security and validation, and Vodacom reserves the right to withhold any Prize until it is satisfied that the claim by a particular winner is valid. The selected winners must be able to identify themselves, in a manner determined by Vodacom, as the qualifying participants to the Competition and are required to comply with the validation procedure, determined by Vodacom, to claim any Prizes, failing which such winner will forfeit the Prize and the Prize will be awarded to the next selected qualifying participant.
6.4 Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable) shall attempt to contact the winners for a period of 05 (five) working days after their names have been drawn and verified as winners. The winners will be contacted during normal working hours, between 09:00 to 16:00. Winners will be advised of arrangements in respect of Prizes at the time of contacting the selected winners. Should a participant not be available on the contact details provided during the timeframe stipulated above or rejects, forfeits or declines acceptance of the Prize, that person's right to the Prize will be deemed to have been waived and the Prize will be forfeited. Vodacom reserves the right to then award the
Prize to the next randomly drawn participant. The winners will be contacted within 7 (seven) working days after the End Date.
6.5 In the event that Vodacom requires certain documentation to be submitted by a particular winner and same has not been received at the agreed cut-off date communicated to the winner, or no effort is made on the part of any of the winners to make special arrangements to meet the deadline set by Vodacom, such Prize will be forfeited. Vodacom then reserves the right to award the Prize to the finalist that is next in line.
6.6 Vodacom and/or the Partner (where applicable) shall request the winners’ consent in writing to their image and/or likeness being used and published by Vodacom in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they have been announced as winners. The winners may decline the use of their image and/or likeness by Vodacom.
7.Prize Delivery
7.1 The Prize will be transferred into the winner's bank account via electronic funds transfer ("EFT") or via eWallet to be sent to the mobile number provided by the winner via Facebook direct message. The eWallet can be withdrawn from the relevant bank ATM. If winner elects to receive their winnings via EFT they will be required to provide
a bank letter as a proof of their bank account details.
7.2 If a winner cannot accept a Prize for any reason whatsoever, the Prize will be awarded to the next selected participant.
7.3 All risks and ownership of the Prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of Vodacom’s obligations regarding the Competition as well as in regard to the Prizes shall terminate.
8.Personal information
8.1 User data, including personal information collected via the Competition will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition and will be processed in line with the Vodacom’s Privacy Statement which is incorporated into these terms and conditions. The Privacy Statement sets out how amongst other things Vodacom collects, use and shares subscribers personal information and how it protects subscriber’s privacy when processing their information.

9.General

9.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or Vodacom in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
9.3 The Prize is not transferable and is not exchangeable for another Prize or cash and cannot be sold.
9.4 The decision of Vodacom in respect of disputes arising out of this Competition shall be dealt with by Vodacom in terms of these Terms and Conditions. The decision of Vodacom in this regard shall be final and binding on the Parties and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.5 Winners are only entitled to win 1 (one) Prize each.
9.6 In the event of a dispute with regard to any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.7 Vodacom and/or the Partner may refuse to award a Prize if entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they have not been successful.
9.8 Vodacom and/or the Partner and/or any other person or party associated with the Competition, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Competition, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either the participant entering the Competition or from it claiming a Prize.
9.9 Vodacom is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or Prize redemption process of the Competition. In addition, neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in and/or the Prize redemption process of the Competition.
9.10 Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents, and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any Prize nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
9.11 If Vodacom elects in its sole and absolute discretion or is required by law to alter, vary or cancel any aspect of the Competition, it will have the right to terminate the Competition being offered, with immediate effect and upon written notice being published on the Vodacom website. In such event all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
9.12 All information relating to the Competition which is published on any marketing material will form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

MY MUZE STREAMING COMPETITION
1.Introduction
1.1 Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the My Muze Streaming Promotion(the “Competition”) where three (3) customers stand a chance to win a share of R30 000 (“the Prize”) at the end of the competition.
All participants during the term of the Competition agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
Duration
The promotion is open to all Vodacom customers only (and shall run from 00h01 on the 14th of March 2024 (the “Start Date”) to 23h59 on the 11th of July 2024 (the “End Date”).

3. Only entries received during the Competition period as stipulated in clause 1 above will qualify as a potential winner.
4. The Competition is only open to natural persons at least 18 years and older. Entries received from business accounts held by legal persons (amongst other Corporates and SMEs, etc.) all employees, representatives and agents of Vodacom, their respective parents and/or affiliated companies, contest suppliers are excluded from participating and winning in the Competition.
5. Any participant under the age of 18 shall present their parent / guardian’s written consent to enter the Competition at Vodacom’s request.
6. Only entrants who are using SIM cards that have been RICA registered are eligible to win the Competition. Each owner of a SIM card(s) is responsible to comply with South African law by RICA registering their SIM cards.
7. Employees, directors and agents of Vodacom and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management, or marketing of this Competition are not eligible to participate in this Competition.
8. Participants must reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identity document or permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months for the Republic of South Africa and valid at the End Date.
9. In the event that the user of the mobile phone (i.e., the participant in the Competition) is not the person that is responsible for payment of the participating mobile phone account/ charges, then the prize will be awarded to the person that is responsible for payment of the participating mobile phone account/ charges.

10. To stand a chance of winning in the Competition,
10.1. Join or be an existing My Muze Streaming subscriber using the R5/day subscription service during the term of the Competition:
10.1.1. Either via dialling the USSD string *127*1#
10.1.2. Or by subscribing via the relevant web pages displaying the Competition information and prize (s)
10.2. Be successfully charged for the My Muze Streaming Service, at least once during the term of the Competition at a charge rate of R5/day.
Collect at least 100 points on the My Muze Streaming service during the term of the Competition.
11. Participants are allowed to enter multiple times. However, the participant’s chance of winning will remain subject to the points mechanics rules applying during the Competition period as stipulated in clause 16 of these Terms and Conditions.
12. Subscribers will also be able to obtain more information on the Competition by sending the following keywords to the SMS long codes for each category for free:
12.1. “INFO” to get more information about the service.
12.2. “POINTS” to get to know the points in the draw.
13. There are no additional charges for participating in the Competition apart from the standard data costs to upload a valid entry, as explained in clause 10 above. Standard data costs apply as per the user’s Service Provider and existing price plan for data usage.
14. Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the winner for entering the Competition or in claiming any prizes, where applicable.
15. Data transfer speeds are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability and utilisation.
15.1. For the sake of clarity, each participant can earn a maximum of 100 points per day on the My Muze Streaming based on their existing daily subscription.
15.2. Each draw will be conducted on the dates specified in the table above within the Competition period.

17. All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by Vodacom.

Vodacom will share personal details of the respective winner, such as name and contact number with Vodacom approved third party service providers for the Competition namely, Mondia Media and Upstream Systems South Africa Pty (Ltd) (“Vodacom appointed service providers for the Competition”) who will notify the respective winner that they have won, and you hereby agree to such disclosure as is necessary to effect Prize fulfilment.
19. Vodacom and / or its appointed service providers for the Competition will use reasonable efforts to contact the winner on the contact details provided by the participants when entering the Competition.
20. Vodacom and / or its appointed service providers for the Competition shall attempt to contact the winner for a period of 2 (two) normal working weekdays after their names have been drawn and verified as a winner. The winner will be contacted during normal working hours, between 8 (eight) in the morning and 5 (five) in the afternoon. The winner will be advised of arrangements in respect of the prize at the time of contacting the selected winner.
21. Should a participant not be available on the contact details provided during the timeframe stipulated above or rejects, forfeits, or declines acceptance of the prize, that person's right to the prize will be deemed to have been waived and the prize will be forfeited. Vodacom reserves the right to then award the prize to the next randomly drawn participant.
22. The claim for any prize will be subject to security and validation, and Vodacom reserves the right to withhold any prize until it is satisfied that the claim by a particular winner is valid. The selected winner (s) must be able to identify themselves, in a manner determined by Vodacom, as the qualifying entrants to the Competition and have to comply with the required validation procedure, determined by Vodacom, in order to claim any prizes, failing which such winner will forfeit the prize and the prize will be awarded to the next selected qualifying entrant.
23. Notwithstanding the fact that the prizes vest in the winner immediately upon the determination of the results, in the event that the required documentation from a particular winner has not been received at the agreed cut-off date communicated to the winner, or no effort is made on the part of any of the winner to make special arrangements to meet the deadline set by Vodacom, such prize will be forfeited. Vodacom then reserves the right to award the prize to the finalist that is next in line.
24. The winner’s name and location will be displayed on www.vodacom.co.za/competition_winners after a period of 2 (two) working days after notification of the winner.
25. Vodacom shall request the winner’s consent in writing to his / her image and/or likeness being used and published by Vodacom in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after he / she has been announced as the winner. Prize Delivery
26. The Prize will be transferred into winner’s bank account via electronic transfer. Each winner will be required to provide a bank letter as a proof of their bank account details.
27. No prize is transferable or exchangeable.
28. If a winner cannot accept a prize for any reason whatsoever, the Prize will be awarded to the next selected entrant.
29. All risks and ownership of the Prizes shall pass to the winner on transfer thereof and hence all of Vodacom’s obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the Prizes shall terminate.

30. User data collected via the Competition will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition.

32. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit, or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
33. The judges’ decision on any aspect of the Competition including the allocation of the prizes will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
34. In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
35. Vodacom may refuse to award a Prize if entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they are rejected.
36. Vodacom and/or any other person or party associated with the Competition, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Competition, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Competition or from claiming the prize.
37. Vodacom is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or Prize redemption process of the Competition. In addition, neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in and/or the prize redemption process of the Competition.
38. Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any prize nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
39. If Vodacom is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Competition or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Competition being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
40. All information relating to the Competition which is published on any marketing material will form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
